So it’s the end of the year. That means it is time for reflection.
This year has been interesting with trying to build an app, which didn’t quite go the way I wanted. So I have been teaching myself coding. I am still working on this and should have my new Apple version of the app on iTunes within a few months.
In the middle of the year. I went on a three week holiday to Indonesia. A quick stop in Bali to visit friends and play with my new super macro wet lenses, before moving onto Lembeh. Here I spent a week muck diving and photographing some of the smallest and coolest creatures I have ever seen. The trip finished with two days hiking through Tangkoko national park, again seeing some amazing creatures and having once in a lifetime experiences with couscous bears and tarsiars.
Another major change to my life this year was being voted in as president of the Douglas photographic society. This was a challenging job but I learnt a lot which will only help to develop my business in the future.
At the end of November I completely redesigned my website and started to offer photography courses and print sales through it. I plan to develop this further in the new year.
I hope everyone has had a great year and the new year will be amazing.
Enjoy my favourite pictures from 2019. (I am sorry but they are all wildlife shots, it is the genre which gives me the most satisfaction, because of how difficult it is.)
