A few months ago, I found myself watching a random video on science experiments you can do from home. My thought process led me to believing that some of the experiments I was watching would be great to photograph. I tried a couple of the experiments and decided that it would be a great activity to do with a group of photographers as everyone would end up with different results. Therefore, I went ahead and planned a workshop for the Douglas Photographic Society. That workshop was supposed to be this weekend, however due to Covid-19 we have had to cancel the event. This upset me as I had been looking forward to running the event. Then it came to me that these are home experiments. We can still do them whilst social distancing from home. So I made the following video to show the club members how to do the first of the three experiments I had planned. Then I realized that there are many other photographers stuck at home and not sure what to do with themselves, so I decided to share it with the world.
In the next few weeks I will make more of these videos with different experiments so make sure you subscribe to get notified about them. Any questions just send me a message!
